Viewing the Data and analysing the Market performance with multiple data sources was tedious. The data was manually being extracted into various excel sheets and were fed to MS Access for data manipulation by running various queries on MS Access. These datasets were fed to the visualization tool on weekly/ bi weekly/ monthly basis in a similar way involving lot of manual work and were prone to many errors every time MS Access queries were edited by users.
Data blending and analysis were used for automating the Market performance reports. Data present on various sources like SAP, RFM, DAPLR etc. were fed into External Data Warehouse and data for various markets were standardized. Data interpretations and data cleansing was done in External Data warehouse, output of which was fed as input to the visualization tool and the data at the input level were automatically refreshed based on the report. Interactive Dashboards were created using Parameters feature to get a single view which showcased the report by Marketing channel, Brand, Sub Brand, Category, Pack Size, Pack Price etc. on weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis.
Standardized Dashboards across the Markets were created on the tool for performance reporting. These dashboards showcase similar output to ensure uniformity with little customization depending on the Market requirement of currency conversion. The view of the Dashboard was automatically updated as per scheduling with little manual intervention and zero human errors.
